LA Hawks is a soccer team formed in 1984 to serve Japanese and Japanese American families who could not join regular American soccer leagues on Saturdays because of the popular Asahi Japanese language school which meets on Saturdays. 

We have 4 divisions that are determined by Japanese grade levels.
The start of the school year is April.

Middle School Division : U15
Older Elementary School Division (4th - 6th): U12
Younger Elementary School Division (1st - 3rd) : U9
Preschool Division  : U7

We have practices at Camino Grove Elementary School on most Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00, with the youngest players finishing at 11:00.
